#98: Listener Questions with the 2016 Ensemblist Award winners!

December 18, 2016

It's our favorite time of year - we get to award four lucky shining beacons of the Broadway community with our Ensemblist Awards, usher them into the studio, make them feel feelings, and then have them answer your questions! GOOD STUFF, right? We thought so too. Last year's Ensemblist Award winners chose this year's Ensemblist Award winners, and we bring them to you now: Kevin Worley, Kim Faure, Dennis Stowe, and Gregory Haney! Listen on as they answer your questions about social media, moving to NYC, finding an agent, and more! Enjoy, loves!

#97: Spotlight on Dramaturgy

#97: Spotlight on Dramaturgy

December 11, 2016

What better way to spotlight this season full of research and relevance than with the job that brings everything we've talked about for the last few months into one neat research-filled job? The dramaturg, and this particular dramaturg (the glorious Anika Chapin), have a vital role in helping to shepherd shows from page to stage. Listen as Anika talks about how she found this field, what she loves about it, and how it's so important to have another set of eyes on the storytelling. Enjoy!

#96: Hamilton

#96: Hamilton

December 4, 2016

Well, friends, we've done it! We have finally reached the most recent Pulitzer Prize winner, Hamilton. And because there has been so much press on this groundbreaking show, we had to find a new way in. And with the help of the brilliant Sasha Hutchings and Neil Haskell, we're looking at Hamilton from the front lines, as it were. As we're wont to do, we break it down from the ensemble's point of view, and talk about Hamilton in a whole new way. Enjoy!
